Before I panic....
Took the instrument cluster out to install the luminescent kit, and put LEDs into the turn signal(green) and high beam (blue) lights.

While it's out, I tried to start the engine and got nothing at all. Is there something in the instruement panel that when disconnected, disconnects the ignition? Or, have I done something horrible and accidentally ripped some wires out somewhere??

If you haven't , replug the heavy Battery wire that goes thru the amp gauge loop on the cluster . Happened to me & I think that all that was needed was to complete the circuit .
