The Unavailable Drivers Floor pan

Am I the only guy who would like to see a replacement drivers floor panel with the side of the trans hump? My 69 was at one time a 3 speed on the floor, but is now an auto. It's time to replace the drivers floor pan, and it would be nice to get rid of the patch panel on the side of the trans hump at the same time. I can't find a vendor that sells a drivers floor pan like that. Anyone find a good way to address both of these at the same time without having to weld in multiple pieces, or get the complete floor pan from side to side?

A flat piece of metal should be just fine for the tunnel, there is no grooves to it I'd just get the driver floor and a sheet of 16g for the tunnel, cut so that there is an edge to plug weld into.

The floor area is made up of several different panels to start with. A flat piece of metal would work fine and be most cost effective (rather than buying the tunnel section and cutting out what you need). Or you could fab it up as an access panel that can be removed. Kind of like the old Power Wagons do on their floors (see Stacey David's Sgt. Rock rebuild).

My 2cents.
