I have the WH 7qt oil pan (made by Moroso) on my truck, but I lost the compression fitting that locks the dipstick in place. Any one know what size it needs to work???

Right now, I have a plug in here to keep oil from splashing out.

Thanks.

Don't know the Moroso part. But on another project that needed a dipstic and only had a ¼" pipe thread on the pan. Took a 3/8" compression to ¼" pipe thread adaptor (Home Depot) and drilled the 3/8 all the way through. Slid the ferrel over the 3/8 tube, adjusted height and tightened the compression fitting. That set the dipstick height.

Always an option if needed.
