Hardened seats?

Hi i have a 72 bronco 302 motor, does anyone know if it came with hardened seats to run unleaded? thanks

nope. the 302 in my 74 (late 73 engine) needed to have hardened seats installed.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. if you're rebuilding the engine or just the heads anyways, get it done. when I tore my 302 apart, it had over 300k miles on it (according to the p.o.), and it was still running okay when I tore it apart. The valves were recessed into the heads pretty far, but they were still sealing okay.
