Does any one out there know a good transmission guy to rebuild my c4
I have gotten some quotes but most of them are in the 900.00 range. I think that it is a bit high.

I am in Fort Worth But would be willing to drive if somebody knew a good mechanic that was reasonably priced.

Thanks

You could pull it yourself and take it to the shop. The shop I use told me that the R&R is the biggest part of the job and would rather just do the bench work anyway. Last time mine was done it only cost about $400 that way. That was for all the parts including a complete bearing replacement which I understand isn't always needed. This price also included all the fluid and new torque converter. I did however have to buy a new flex plate that not included in the price.
