I built a 351w for my bronco and the water pump discarge is on the wrong side.(drivers) Can I go to Autozone and tell them I need one for a bronco with a 302? will they interchange?
Thanks for the help!

if you still have a 302 front cover you can use it and the 302 water pump. that way you keep the hoses as well as the timing marks where they were.

The waterpump rotation should match the timing chain cover.
But inlet and outlet (of standard rotation waterpumps) will interchange. There is a funny catch most don't know about. The divers side inlet standard rotation waterpump has the waterpump shaft located about 5/8" higher then the other styles of waterpump (stock Bronco passenger, serpintine, Explorer)
