need help

7/16" is the dry float level per rebuild instructions

I'm looking for wet float level top of main body to fuel in bowl. I just got through measuring it and it showed 3/4"?

That just doesn't seem right.

From the way I read it, it's top edge down to fuel level with engine idling.

I've always had a rule of thumb ...bottom side sets on the floor if you've run out of gas who cares I want the last drop ...top side is level unless I climbing at Idle then I want it a little short adjust if need ..I'm one of the old geesier lest try this until it don't work then back up some ..
