Im looking to switch out my d30 for a d44. What im wondering is other than another early bronco what are the best vehicles to pull off of for front d44s with driver side drop. I'd like to find something that doesn't require shortening the axles and such.

Thanks

your options are pretty limited if you want it to be the same width. If you don't want to shorten you could always go full width.

There is no such axle. The EB D44 is quite unique.

The only 'cheaper' option is to grab a high-pinion D44 out of a 76-79 F-150 or 78/79 full-size Bronco and narrow the long side by about 6".
