Brake warning light switch

In the process of changing out my brake lines I broke the brake warning light switch off of the prop valve. I took the prop valve off of the frame but I can't get the part of the switch still left there in the valve out. Looking for some suggestions to fix this as I do not want to screw it up any worse than it is. It hasn't been a good day for me. Thanks

Yeah, great start to the weekend there bud! Oh well. I'm looking at experiencing something similar before the day is out.

Isn't your broken off piece just the plastic threads? If so, I would think that it would be relatively easy to chip it out in pieces, if not quiet getting it to cooperate by turning out.

What's yours made of? If plastic, is it just so gummed up that it's basically "glued" in place? Have you tried gouging it out with a blade of some kind?

Oh, at least the switch is easy and cheap to replace, so there's an up-side anyway.

Thanks Paul, that is what I was thinking of trying but thought maybe someone here had another suggestion as well. I was worried about damaging the threads in the prop valve doing it like that, but it seems to be about the only way to do it. Thanks again.
