Taking off the fenders for rust proofing and paint. How the heck do I get the bolts that attach the fender to the front clip... no ractchet room! Is there a 3 foot ext handle I am missing haha?

Any advice from someone who has done it would be great! Thanks again

air ratchet works good. Even without air I have not had a problem getting to these bolts. The bolt I have problems with is the one up high in the grill.

Take the grill and the fenders off together then remove the fenders from the grill. Takes 2 people to lift it off and set it on the ground. Sounds like more of a hassle but its really not and it makes it so much easier. Its how ford intended it to come off anyway. :)

Then when one of the nutsert splits and just spins, a small cut-off wheel is the go-to tool..........

Sometimes the best tool is the sawall...lube up the fender and gill and the then let it rip.

NEVER thought to leave it attached to the grill.... funny how simple things are when you get a second opinion....thanks so much... i think i only have the one rusted bolt on each side by the fire wall holding it on! Grinder will take care of that with a little drilling... thanks guys!

3/8 impact is better then a air racthet as the impact rattles them not twists them

When replaceing new fenders and grill has anyone ever bolted the grill and fenders together and then installed on the body?
