I know that the answer is simple, but I can't remember it so here goes the question.

The master cylinder on my 70.71,74,and 75 has 2 compartments.

Does the front compartment(space towards the front of the vehicle)control the rear brakes ?, and the rear compartment control the front brakes.

Is this correct?

trying to bleed brakes and having a brain fart today in the heat and humidity. I'll wait for response and try again Monday in cooler weather

Thanks Mike

The reservoir (compartment) that holds the most fluid goes to the front brakes regardless if it is in the front or rear of the MC.

on my bronco the bigger one in the back goes to the front, and the smaller one in the front goes to the rear.

in my 1970 1ton with same sized resevars the rear goes to the rear.
