in the final stages (I hoped!) of finishing the explorer serp swap, with new camshaft etc... :)

Question on the wiring to the 4g alt. The 3g alt I had had a plug tail with 3 wires. ASI; 'A' is a ylw/white wire going to the + batt terminal on the Alt, 'S' is a white/blk fusible link going to another plug back into the Alt. 'I' is green wire.

My question is that on the schematics I've seen for the 4g exlporer alt, the 'S' wire is not used. Do I just cut and cap this wire, leave it alone, or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Cut the white-black at the connector and you're done.
