Lug Nut Torque

I've searched everywhere but can't find the right terms to search for (apparently;)) so here goes:

How much torque should I put on the lug nuts.

I originally torqued them to 100 ft/lbs, but that doesn't seem like enough.

If your running aluminum rims you also need to retorque after about 100 miles.
