Picked up a really nice aluminum aux fuel tank the other day and need to decide whether or not to cut an opening to install a sending unit.
Tank was professionally fabricated and I knew it came without sending unit, but for $20.00 I couldnt pass it up.
Ive got the sending unit in my spare parts pile and have acess to plasma cutter.
I am just wondering how difficult it will be to get a good seal after I mount the sending unit.
If anybody has any advice or experience with aluminum tanks, any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Trapper
