Washer pump wiring?

My washer fluid pump harness has two wires but the centech harness only has one? How does one wire it?

The wire that says washer goes to the plug in on pump. That leaves you one wire coming out, ground it.

Does it matter which you ground and which is power?

I think so. Mine has the later model combo, washer/coolant recovery bottle, and it uses the black wire with the white stripe as the hot wire. IIRC the hot wire was green on the original loom. I'm pretty sure the ground wire is black on both. If you hook it up backward, it will suck instead of blow, so to speak
