I feel like an idiot... I cranked the motor up before putting the body on during my build but never noticed this! Now that I am taking care of the finishing touches on the wiring, I noticed I have oil spewing out of the crank case from a port/vent hole in the timing cover just behind the alternator bracket, about 3" above where the oil pan mates to the block. I couldn't get a pic bc it was too dark. How do I plug this hole, and what is it for?!!? There are no threads in the hole, and it seems to have about a 1/2" of meat (metal)...
