Mustang heater Line Question -

I am double checking my heater lines coming off of the stock mustang heater lines, there are two lines, one is fed by coolant coming off of the water pump, the second one is fed from the lower intake manifold. Which one is the heater line in? is it the one being fed by the lower intake manifold, or is it the one being fed by the line coming off of the water pump? This is a 93 mustang setup I have on my Bronco with a GT 40 upper and lower intake setup.

My understanding is the feed to the heater is from the intake manifold and the return from the heater is to the water pump.
