My two in to one happened in South Veitnam and cost me a carton of cigs, and chocolate bar, and a spider monkey. It resulted in a series of penicillin shots and several visits to a colorectal specialist. But it was so worth it and I wish those two vietnamize fisherman would return my calls. I miss you Linam and Donka.

A few minutes ago, I wouldn't have hesitated to ask. But now? NO WAY am I asking!

Here's a high-angle shot of mine though. Right rear, angled back.
Duals all the way back, with a crossover tube.

Not the best place to exit, as it can still get smashed. But it reduced the fumes to a more manageable level, and is flexible enough that you'd have to smash them up right to the body to do any damage.

When that happens though, the tips come off and all should be good to go until I get home.

Paul

... Don't delete yet.. I want to her more on the Vietnam story..
... I was subscribing to this for my Bronco with the 4BT in it .. Mine is very loud but it drops off in front of the rear axle..
... I've been suppose to take it back too have it extended but I'm still not sure how far out I want it extended .. I'd like to know if over the axle and out the rear side or back to the rear bumper ..Is best..
... Mine seems to have an ''Harmonics'' in 2nd gear at about 1100 x 1400 rpms.
... Will taking mine out the rear side take care of the harmonics.

Oh yea, I like that through the side too, but I have heard that it's pretty loud . for sure won't get crushed. I'm about to reroute mine so I'm thinking about all these options. Keeping it underneath and on top of the axle is an excellent choice.....clean, quieter, and crush proof. Out the side is just way cool though
