Finally was able to find a hose that worked for me with my new Champion Conversion Style Radiator. 1986-1990 bronco II 2.9L with Manual Transmission LOWER radiator hose.
NAPA NBH 8427
GATES 21736
DAYCO C71280
Hope this info saves someone some time trying to find a upper hose for the Champion Conversion Style Radiator

Thank's that's what I needed to know, you just saved me the trouble of finding one. Wait your water pump neck turns up mine comes straight out that won't work on mine.

Looks a lot like the one I used. I know the one I used is from a 2.9 engine'd B-II or Ranger, but I don't remember if it's upper or lower. What is the diameter of that hose?

I also got the Dayco C70705 which is the UPPER hose for the Bronco II. This hose does not fit on the neck of the Champion radiator. The lower Bronco II radiator hose has a slightly large diameter which fits perfect on the radiator's neck

Good find on that hose bronco loco! I looked at the hose I am using, C70705, the hose you found C71280, and a stock 5.0 Mustang hose C70965 to compare specs on the hoses. With the C71280 the diameter is the same on one end, but slightly larger on the other. On the C70705 that diameter match is flip flopped end to end vs. the Mustang hose. I do remember the hose being snug on the radiator I'm using. With a little hose grease it slid right on. The radiator I'm using should have the same connection size and I referenced the Ledfoot Racing Ebay listing....all show the inlet connection as 1.5"

Again...good find on that hose! Did you stumble on to it or did you have some help finding that particular part #? I know I was thoroughly exhaust after staring at hanging hoses in the parts store for way too long.

Well before I got the champion radiator I purchased the C70705 following your thread, when I tried to put it on it was tight on the neck of the thermostat but it did not fit on the radiator neck, the diameter was too short. I tough I misread your post regarding the hoses so I decided to try maybe the lower hose. When I got the lower Bronco II hose, it fit only need to cut about 1 inch off the thermostat end. So you did half of the homework and I stumble into the other half.LOL

Not sure yet. I'm going to look at one at the Bronco Hut tomorrow to see if it will fit. Otherwise, I've heard the Ron Davis full circle for 2" body lift will work.

why don't you use the original shroud?, the champion radiator is set slightly forward, bringing the fan into the shroud about halfway in. Just look at the first picture above.
