Anyone running this tire wheel combo? Pictures? I am wondering if this rim will be too wide?

I'm running 35 x 12.50 tires on a 15x12 wheel. Functionally it works perfectly fine for the way I use my rig. Your 33 x 12.50 would work fine as well. Aesthetically, you may catch some grief from some folks that will tell u it looks ghetto but I'm partial to the fat tire look (without actually going to a 14" wide tire).

Im sure a few folks will speak up and tell you that if you plan to do any rock crawling or hard wheeling you need a narrower rim. They're right, but I get the feeling that if you did either you probably already have a set of narrower bead-locks and wudnt be asking the question.

Yeah, I have 15 x 10 rims on my 33 x 12.50s now but I found a deal on a set of 15 x 12 Micky Thopson classics that Look great but not sure how they will work with the 12.5 tires. Also I was a little worried about the backspaceing on a 12 in wheel because my 77 doesn't have much room between the rim and steering knuckle.

Well, If you already have 15 x 10 I would tend to stay with those.

....and don't listen to Franko. He's swallowed too much of that Halopaw swamp water. He ran on 39s w/ no cage and bright blue camo!! That boy AIN'T RIGHT!!!! Lol

*i have zero issues with rubbing on radius arms.

That does look good Franko.

Banjer Picker, the reason I was thinking about changing them is because they are rusty.

All the pics you guys are showing are with a wide tire. With a 12.5 that wheel and tire will look funny. The ones in the pics below are a 35x12.5x15 on a 15x12 Mickey Thompson Classic II wheel. The 33 would be shorter and in my opinion, look worse than mine did.

I've got that set of 15x7 aluminum wheels that should clean up well. Yours if you want them. I wouldn't run a 12.50 on a 12" rim, it just doesn't look right. If you are gonna get the wheels, get bigger tires too.

I'm starting to think the 12s will look odd with the 33" tires also. I also think the offset will hit the tie rod.

Parker, Did the 15 x 7s clear your tie rod ends? If they clear I may give them a try.
