This Mustang was at the Good Guys Car Show in Nashville in May and I can't stop admiring the effort that goes in to pulling this off.
Basically, taken down to a minimalist aesthetic- no wires or "extra stuff" and color matched all black.
Anyone have any pics of this kind of treatment in a Bronco engine bay they want to share?

That's kinda the plan with mine, but not all black. All the wires will be hidden and it should be clean/minamalist as possible.

That is fine for a pure show car but not practical for a vehicle you're going to use. I wanted to hide my wiring but was convinced that was a bad idea and I am thankful to those who convinced me otherwise. While it is clean looking, its a royal pain when you need to replace a blown fuse or relay in the dark on a trail somewhere...

not to mention, those hidden wires will hold dirt and crap if you do wheel.

Ohter than that, it looks nice.

looks great but not very practical on a real truck! I have the minimal wires and stuff possible under my hood. Once i add a coolant overflow, washer bottle, power steering, and brakes its only gona get worse

I think it's a great idea! If you do a good job with your wiring and keep your fuses and such in a location that is servicable, there's no reason not to do a sanitary job. Nothing turns me off of a rig more than seeing a spagetti bowl of wires when someone pops their hood!

Yeah I will share with the old school look. Gotta laugh (Tweety my brothers bronco) she wheels and climbs with the best of them. It is pretty hard to hide a Vertex and 4 Webers.

I'll take some pics of mine when I get home. I have ran all my wires under the fenders (Outside of engine bay). I cut holes to go out the kickpanels and return right at the front of the engine bay to their respective places. It took ALOT of time, but it does look better in my opinion. I will never need to get the wires undone unless I end up cutting them somehow. I do worry about denting the front fenders on a tree or rock and cuttin the wires, but that's the only worry I have.

I wouldn't hide that vertex or those webers either!!!

It's not about hiding stuff, it's about sanitary. I actually believe a well organized and thought out engine compartment is easier to trouble shoot than one that's a maze of wires and hard to see what's what...

Just my .02...
