If I have a C.D. ignition box that has an <br>"18-16 volt operating range" will I experience <br>any problems running it off a stock alternator? do I need a <br>higher output alternator?

That's weird man, you will fry a battery running over 15 volts, all the guages will cease to operate as well. I would look into a normal ignition system (duraspark or MSD).

I think DUI sells a higher volt battery, but BFH is right. It will nuke other components in your electrical. I run the 12v DUI set-up on both broncos. Nice and clean.
