• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Yeah looks like 68-77 doors have been added. Looks like the door post striker has been altered/moved. In the one pic....you can see a where it's been cut and moved and a "plate" has been added with possibly a rivit/bolt holding it.

I have been trying to get a hold of the poc for the bronco to go look at it and get a first hand look for everyone, thinking of driving down there tomorrow since I am out of school and seeing if I can look at it

Love to see some pics if u can get down there. Get good ones of the door posts, etc. double check the VIN on the drivers side kick panel to see for sure what it is.

Thanks,

Getting down there isn't the issue as it is 10 mins from the house, it is getting someone that can let me in to look at it because it is in a fenced area behind a locked gate. Have seen it before just not up close only from the fence.

15 G's man that's a lot of coin for a truck that looks like it's gonna need some work to restore it to it's glory. That being said, I hope whoever gets it restores the paint and all, it would be ashamed to mod a service vehicle, especially a police vehicle, probably not to many police Bronco's

More like 114000 miles, take a look at the picture showing the brake and clutch pedals. Notice the ware on the right side of the brake pedal pad, that didn't happen in 14,000 miles...imo.

Could be a U13... I'm just sayin

Yes it could be. add says, Doors and top are not original. Ordered as a parade vehicle. Those were the correct mirrors for a 68 roadster. However I think its a late 67

Whatever U it is, I think it's a 67'.............it has a 66' gauge cluster, so probably a left over and used on this 67' by Ford. Odds of it being left over until 68' wouldn't be likely I wouldn't think.

very hard to say in any case 14K on the speedo is believeable although I would say it probably does have 114K just due to age and the hands its been thur. Wear on the brake pedal is nothing although Id expect more wear on the clutch pedal as well. But pedal pads can be changed and newer stuff seems to wear a lot quicker than the old stock stuff. But even so parade vehicle would have wear on the clutch and brake pedal.
I think as long as the body is in as good as shape as it appears it could be a good deal not that Id pay that much for it but looks like some people will.

THe mileage thing is tough. General logic says 114k, but the circumstances and the kind of vehicle, plus the military history, and service vehicle history, make a strong case for low miles.

A few years ago I had a couple of 20 year old police officers argue that a farm registered '66 Roadster I had bought must have 133k on it ,not 33k, since it was so old. "I mean, like, they commute 30 miles each way to work, so I'm totally sure that's the life a PTO winch, no doors, Bronco with 4.56 gears and stock tires lead."

Ok so I finally got down to Glen Alpine city hall and would you believe it was closed at like 230 in the afternoon. Well anyways drove by where the bronco is stored and to my suprise the gates where both wide open so went to knock on the door of the building there no answer check the lock and it is locked. So I walk over to the bronco and start taking pics, then decide to look inside and under the hood and under neath.

There is no bench seat, the wheel wells in the back look brand new, probably because how it was used never really saw any use.
It is a U15, but also a military bronco as it had the plate in the center of the dash. Looks very clean although at some point someone sprayed bed liner under the bottom of the bronco, looked more like a preventative thing then to hide anything as I didn't see any signs of where it even started to get much if any rust. Thats enough from me feel free to ask questions, lets let the pictures do the talking.
