Do I need one? I have a 2.5 inch body lift and the tank is tucked to about 1/4 inch from the body. The problem I have with the skid plate is that I can't tuck it up against the tank with that much body lift. I have a huge gap that I think looks bad. Any thoughts?

I don't have a skidplate on mine yet to show a pic ,but I guess your talking about what other people have refered to before - if your talking about the rear side tabs hitting the tanks frame mounts just chop them down enough to slide the skid plate up against the tank then redrill the hole to bolt to the track
