I have the 3 gauge pack, oil pressure, water temp, and volts

I have the oil pressure hooked up... its all good
Why does my intake not have a spot on it where the little plug goes for the water temp?
and how do you wire up the voltage gauge to get it to work?

edit: im talking about the mechanical gauge pack....

I bought one of the cheep triple gauge sets and couldn,t use the temp sensor.
My performer manifold doesn't have a big enough port for the fittin on the thermistor end of the lead. I don't think a stock 2bbl manifold has one either.

As far as the volt gauge goes any 12v source will give you a decent reading. If you want absolute accuracy hook it directly to your battery.

You should be able to get an adapter that would let you use your sensor. Also, you can get a thermostat housing that is tapped on top from some of the older 302/351W engines. I have one on mine that I use for the temp sensor on an electric fan.
