The same old story: School, debt and life are forcing my sell.
Is currently not running. I'm 99% certain it is in my Malory electronic ignition. A simple (and cheap) switch to the standard Ford electronic ignition for a 351w should solve this problem. I will be working on it in the next few weeks, and expect to sell it in running condition.
I have approximately $12,000 in receipts in hand. I have not kept recent receipts, but estimate that I have $26,000 invested including initial purchase of the bronco.
I no longer consider the bronco show condition, as it has been used for off-roading. I took first place in the Offroad category after the initial build, and then went out the very next weekend and took 3rd place in the local mud bog race. It would need passenger side body work to be 100%. A replacement front fender and over-sized rear fender flare would improve the conditions greatly. If you wanted to show this bronco and be competitive, you would need a new paintjob with better prep work. This is a very nice daily driver or weekend warrior.
Before the ignition went out, I would have comfortably taken this bronco on a 500 mile trip. The transmission shifts HARD. The previous owner claimed a rebuild with a shift kit. I have been told a new transmission vacuum module would improve and lessen the harshness of the shift. I planned on rebuilding the transmission myself, as it is the only portion of the original drive-train that I have not PERSONALLY worked on. I have been into all other components, including a complete rebuild of both axles, replacement seals and modified shift forks on the transfer case, and multiple engine modifications (timing chains, fuel injection, intake).

*I no longer have the hard top. I have a full soft top with tinted windows.
I am currently looking for a list of all modifications. I will post this information as soon as I am able to find full details.
I'm unfortunately motivated to see the bronco go for financial reasons. I'm open to negotiation on value, but low-ball offers need not apply. You may call me at 208-940-1785 if you have any questions.
Thank you!
Mike
