Tall gears = numerically a low number.

Think of a tall person who only takes a few strides to cover a lot of distance.
Short gears is a small dog whose legs are a blur trying to keep up with the person walking along slowly.

5.13 is not the way to go here, that will effectively eliminate most peoples desire of an OD by making it essentially the same final operating rpms and speed as your current C4 only with the addition of a 4th gear. 4.56 is plenty for the 33's and if you are planning on more off road you could step to 4.88's but I run those with 35's and have no issues whatsoever.
