If you message kb6677 he has one, not sure if it is in any of his Garage pictures or photo gallery pic's but I'm sure he would send you a pic or post some here.

How exactly do you want to stretch it?

KB added 10 or 12 inches to the middle of the frame and stretched the entire body. I've only seen this on a few broncos, including KB's and NGABronco's "Stretch".

Search for NGABronco (Ben) - he has a great build thread on Stretch on here.

Others of us have pushed the front and rear axles out to gain wheelbase. I moved my rear axle back 10" and stretched the rear fenderwells to accomodate. I also had to remove my fuel tank and have an in-bed fuel cell now.

Here are some pics I took of Karl's rig when we were out in Johnson Valley for the 40th.

I have been thinking of doing an uncut half cab (street and forest service road worthy) with a stretch in it. But keep the rear axle more centered in the bed opening. I was thinking of a 6' bed (at floor level, less at waistline height) that would be something like an 18" stretch overall but only 9" of added wheelbase.

I just want to add about 6" in the rear. Move the flares back. Add some sheet metal to the front of the rear quarters....I saw a really cool Bronco in Crawl last year, done that way and it's been haunting me!!!!! I can't find that edition, I know I have it somewhere.......I bought my first Bronco in 1988 and this is # 6, probally my last and I want it the way I want it!

That is a photoshop job on someone's picture, not an actual rig, looks awesome none the less...

Cut mine in half under the sests, put in 10", cut the body sides 4" behind the door post, cut the floors so the body mounts stayed with the framre, filled in the 10" blanks. I'm pretty happy with it!!;D;D

FWIW, I believe kb's rig has a 12" longer custom built frame, it was not stretched.:eek::eek:

There was a fellow down in FL doing about a 20" stretch, had it up for sale cause he was moving to AK???%)%) I can't remember his handle.

Was wonderin' when you were going to show up Ben! I like your rig. Like Quinns set up too. Someday maybe I will do one similar but have the "cab" portion end at the end of the bulkhead for a standard half cab with a bed on the back.

Nice Bronco's! Great job to all. Food for thought definitely! The orange 4 door is awesome. They all are! Keep 'em coming

Look at BB getting on my case when I am back at work- Actually my bronco BODY was stretched in every sense of the word. As someone has correctly posted, we cut mine behind the door post and added 12 inches from another eb tub. The only gap we had left was at the "bottom" where the two tubs came together. Added some sheet metal there. I will look when I get home, I think I have a shot of the "stretched body" with the metal addition on my home computer. We did my stretched eb in '02 with completion in '03 so it has been a day or two.....
To the OP-if you are planning to do much trail riding and especially ledges, you will really like the extra wheel base.

I've driven stock WB and mine stretched 12" on the rubicon and many other trails, and man, what a difference...as long as you go bigger in tire as you go longer ;-) Otherwise you get caught on all kinds of stuff lol.

As was noted above I am selling my stretched one. Going even longer for the next...not really to gain more wheelbase but for more interior room. I have 4 kids and we can get along with the current stretch but I dont have any cargo room with everyone inside, it all has to go on the rack so looking to go to 117" WB similar to that of the JK with partial rear doors (cut at the vent). I'll post a pic in a little bit of my photoshop'd idea. If mine doesnt sell I might just build a trailer to haul on a pintle but we'll see.

The body on mine is not exactly stretched other than the front quarters on the bed have been replaced to move the wheel opening back 4". The front is moved forward 4" as well for a 100" wheel base. There are a few pics in my garage for those that might be interested.

Damn....too bad, I would have tried to own that Bronco at some point. Always liked the stretch idea....it's like driving a TJ vs. a 4 door JK, much more stable and friendly.
