anyone ever seen a classic bronco with a pick up truck style body for a back half? I saw one the other day, truck bed and everything. was wondering if anyone knows if they were built that way or if it's just something the owner fabricated himself. if you know they were built that way, do you know what year? ANY information is appreciated!!!

Are you referring to a half cab, one like this? If so I do believe they were available from 66-72. BTW, not my Bronco... got the pic from Google Images.

Yup, Early Bronco half cab, or pickup. The VIN will start with U14 to designate that it came from the factory this way. However, the top and bulkhead that separate the cab from the bed can be bolted on to Broncos that came from the factory with a full top as well.

Yup if one starts with U14 or you see a bulkhead behind the seats you'll know. Not very practical rigs IMO but damn good looking I'd love to add one to my stable.

There is no such thing of a early broco with a pickup bed. No matter how much siderbox tries to convince you other wise.

A while back there was someone on here who was building a Bronco with a seperate truck bed made from a 64-66 ford truck bed that was narrowed and shortend. It made it look like a long bed Bronco with a half cab.

Hey, I need about 6" of floorboard at the bulkhead from a 64 to 66 F100 bed for my trailer project! Anyone?

My F100 bed is rusted out at that location which is typical.
