You're referring to the hub lock assembly?

This F100/F250 diagram from fordification.com website seems to
be same as the Bronco factory hub lock.
http://www.fordification.com/tech/images/schematics/lockinghubsF100(3Kaxle).jpg

Take off the cover&knob assembly[1A050+1A029]. Remove the
inner snap ring[378392-S(QQ-81)] from the hub housing[1104],
that allows removal of the actuator gizmos[1A051+1A053].
Remove the outer snap ring[371834-S(QQ-40)] from the end of
the axle shaft[3219-R.H./3220-L.H.]. Normally the clutch parts
[1A028+1A052] will pop right off due to the spring pressure.
If not, use a pick with a curved end or maybe a couple
screwdrivers to lever them out. The spring[1A054] should be
easy to remove, and you'll need a pick or screwdriver again to
get the spring plate[1A055] out. And that's pretty much all there
is to the hub lock assembly!
