Purchased this bronco a few months ago in Los Angeles. It had sat under a carport since 1997. An old professor Purchased it new in LA and drove it to and from work at the local University every day. When he started having health problems he parked it. I purchased it for the body alone.

Paul at Wild Horses has become my best friend... I wont say what my current bill is @ Wild horses...but I will say those guys are awesome. I made a 7 hour drive to Lodi to pick up my parts and see the place. I loved every minute of it. I filled the cab and bed of my truck with parts and drove home. Im now ready to start assembly.

I way overdid welding up supports to remove the body. But I didnt want it to move at all. I dont regret my decision.

Rebuilt 302. Rebuild Dana 44 and big bearing rear. Both with 4.10. Powder coated frame. New NV 3550. New PS. New Hydroboost. New Wiring Kit....Steel wheels fresh with Wimbeldon white. 31X10.5x15 bfg ko2's mounted in 3 days and then I can start putting it back together! Way more to come...

I will keep updating as progress happens. This is the start!

Also the old professor that owned it before me never took it off road! The rockers are PERFECT. The body on this Bronco blows me away... I cant wait to get it on the road.

The only thing not in great shape is the top. If anyone in So Ca wants to sell one in good condition, Im interested!

Lucky dog. Find of a lifetime. I'd have to pull the body, update everything, and set the body back down with the original paint to rock on for another 40 years.

Thanks. I need to update my pics. You gonna do any trails with her? I started venturing out a few years back. Got bored ofnthe car show scene.

I plan on it! It will get used, thats for sure...

Ha! Very true!!! I like to think the "bux" refers to a "bucking" bronco... But your version also is true.

Steering assembled. Please speak up if anything looks "off" (besides the nut that holds the pitman)
