Been a while since I have been in 4x4 low range......

Just want to make sure I got the proper procedure to shift into it and back out to 2 hi.

5 speed with twin stick T transfer case:

Tranny to neutral
front axle in neutral
shift rear axle to neutral then to low range
shift front axle to low range
tranny into gear

back to 2 hi:

Tranny to neutral
front axle to neutral
rear axle to hi range
tranny into gear

Right??? If not, please give me the correct sequence so I don't screw it up!!

I just put the transmission in neutral and shift. If there's a little drag on the clutch plate you may want to push the clutch in to keep the TC gears from grinding some but that's about it. The vehicle does need to be stopped. You really can't screw it up.

Dont forget to lock you hubs once you are in 4 wheel. Also unlocking them before trying to get it out of 4 wheel also helps.

Pretty much tranny in neutral should do the trick. Hubs locked don't make a difference but it can make shifting the t-case tougher if bound up. Rolling forward or backwards a few feet can help it unbind. I've had to kick mine out of 4-high when it was bound up.

Don't do it on concrete or where the wheels can"t slip. It will bind up and possibly break something. And it's hard to get back out of 4 wheel drive.
