• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Mexican 302 block, thick main caps like a 289 Hipo and higher grade iron than a standard 302. These came in Broncos sporadically from 1970-1972, and possibly earlier. It's a 71 Date code, for 12/70, would be correct for an early 71. It's standard bore, bare block, tanked and mag'd. Light surface rust, but always stored inside. 350.00

Yes, compare to 289 Hipo block at 2500.00 and dart 302 block at 3200.00 The Mexican block is a great choice for any built 302.

BUt yes, I hear you ransil - we are getting tot he age where we say "Oh man, I had one I gave away!! ".. lol

Dang I have 3 of these. I am glad you posted since i had no basis on price.
The wierd thing is that 2 came out of 74s so the motors had been changed at some time. I looked up the numbers when i removed them and found out the story behind the Mex block. Around here the racers like them.
GLWS and bumpity bump bump

Do you have one for a 69? I need a 69 block or preferably a complete motor.
