So I like making cheap knock offs,

Here are pics of my Cactus Smasher, and now replaced by
pre-runner bumper that was inspired by Tom's Bronco style.

Definitely not perfect but thought I would share.

On the new bumper, I need some suggestions on "tow-points" hook and/or shackle eyes, and where to put my lights, As shown, or on top of the hoop like real pre-runners.? Plus Considering adding a winch if I find a good deal on one.

Any body else have pre-runner bumper pics to share?

Looks great.

Normally you'd want to incorporate shackle mounts into the design instead of adding them to a finished product. Maybe something like THESE big burly bumper clevis mounts from Ruffstuff and simply weld them onto the inside or outside of your frame horn mounts. Or maybe THESE tube based clevis which could mount directly to the tubing somewhere but you'd have to mess with the radius to get a good fit (they're 3" cuts).

cactus smasher about $40 in metal. The new one About $150 in metal and paint, but spent a lot of time cutting out all the pieces, with oxyacete, and grinding wheel. Im definitly keeping my new bumper, way too much blood and sweat put into it right now. I will eventually part with the cactus smasher and stock bumper...
