I was looking at my truck today, which has 35's and a 3.5" lift, and I was thinking if I cut the fenders to the body line 37's would fit.;D

So I would like to see if anyone else is running 37's with a 3.5" lift and NO BODY LIFT:cool:

Believe me it will fit if you center it and cut flares up to body line.....

Next build I will do just that.... Low COG with big meats....

I have 37 and a 3 1/2'' lift but I also have a body lift of 3 inches. So that counts me out.

I've got 35s on a 3 1/3 inch lift. The fronts are probably ok, but the rears rub on the inner fenders. It will take more than cutting to the body line IMO.

check out cages early bronco.

"This '69 Bronco has our 3.5" extreme travel suspension lift combined with a 2" body lift. Oh and a LOT of fender trimming to clear 40x13.50x17" Goodyear MTR tires."

I would imagine they also lengthened the wheelbase, swapped in some 1-ton units, hydro-assist steering, etc. It doesn't really appear like it in the pics though. She does look bad arse.

37's 3.5 inch lift and 1 inch body lift. I think it will work. I may just have to trim a little more of the inner fender than I did for the 35's.

Thanks for all the responses. My Bronco actually has ~4.5" of lift in the rear, so I am more worried about the front.

I have seen the cage Bronco, and it's cool, but that is a bit bigger than I want to go:p , thanks though.

ProjectBronco70, your truck looks good, but I would really like to see an actual picture of a bronco on 37's with only 3.5" of lift. Thanks though.

I guess what I'm really wondering is if I can get 37's of with just more cutting, and not have to reconstruct custom inner fenders.;)

It'll roll down the road OK, but you'll catch the leading and trailing edges of the wheelwells front and rear at full stuff on the trail. It sounds horrible, and will cut the lugs. I hammered mine flat at one point, but they still drug. The tire's just too darned big for that little wheelwell. Anything larger than a 33 will catch at full stuff if you don't have some wacky long bumpstops.

I ran 38's with a 2" BL and stock springs in the rear, and some buggered up 3-1/2"'s in the front (sat pretty level though, go figure)

No cutting needed. 37's with a 3 1/2'' lift. Ok so there is a 3'' body lift too.

3.5" suspension lift, 2" body lift, and a bit of fender trimming. I also removed my inner fenders. These are 36 X 13.5 X 15 IROCs that measure like 37" tires. They are 36.8" in diameter.

I also have 3" backspacing on my rims. Except rubbing on the radius arms at full lock, I do not rub.

I installed the rear fenders when I had 33s and the fronts when I went to 37s. That is why they aren't the same height.

We just put 37's on one of my Broncos with only a 2-1/2" lift and no body lift. It has full-width axles (I like it wide and low). As you can see in the pix we still have some trimming to do but I'm confident we can butcher it enough to not need any more lift. At most it may end up with a 1" BL but I'm trying to get away with not adding any more lift at all. In the first photo, the truck behind it has 35" tires for comparison.

Dusty, what kind of rear tire carrier is on there? Looks like it's right on top of a stock bumper....

It fits over the stock bumper, I have no clue who made it. I bought it off of a customer who we did some work for, he was upgrading to a bitchin' new Cross bumper.
