The plug for the turn signal wires is missing on my 71 The steering column has just been replaced.
There is a fin on the top right of the main harness plastic male plug.
View is from the back of the signal wire plug, fin up or fin slot up at right
From left to right, I need the color sequence of wires on the top row
From left to right, I need the color sequence of wires on the bottom row

Any help would be appreciated

If any one has a plug available I would like to purchase it

signal switch wiring

A problem I see is the 71 shows a 6 pin plug. The truck has a 8 pin plug
there are colors not shown.

Thanks for the lead

'71 should have a 6 pin and a 2 pin plug. You say the column has been replaced, what is the column from? Is your connector a curved shape? Does your new column have a hazard flasher switch?

signal switch wiring

I took a column out of a 73-75 F-100 and installed a 71 bronco signal assembly. Hazard switch is still in the dash.

Main harness has the 8 pin, rectangular plug
There is no plug on the signal wires. Still searching

The original column had an extension welded to the shaft and was a disaster waiting to happen.

Good questions. Appreciate the imput

Any idea which yr Bronco had the 8 pin?

I have no idea which year used a rectangle 8 pin plug. I've only seen the 6/2 and the curved one.

These are the Early Bronco steering column colors:

Designation----------------Early-----------Mid Years-------Late

Hazard Flasher-------------N/A ------------White/Red-------White/Red
Turn Flasher---------------Blue------------Blue------------Blue
Brake Switch---------------Purple----------Red/Black-------Red/Black
Left front turn signal-----Green/White-----Green/White-----Green/white
Right front turn signal----White/Blue------White/Blue------White/Blue
Left rear Turn/Brake-------Green/Orange----Green-----------Green
Right rear Turn/Brake------Orange/Blue-----Yellow/Black----Yellow/Black
Horn Relay-----------------Yellow----------Yellow----------Yellow
Horns----------------------Blue/Yellow-----Blue/Yellow-----Blue/Yellow

(I think after '74 they moved the emergency flasher switch up to the column,
so this accounts for the extra wire.)
