I got stuck with my 2WD F250 after having to launch my boat from the bank. All the ramps had been closed due to the drought. I wasn't comfortable towing my boat the 40 miles with bronco and knew there was a good chance I would get stuck with the 2WD. So I had my son follow me in the bronco. Good decision.
You can hear my wifes excitement when I finally got out of the ruts.
nice looking bronco, and boat. next time have your wife turn the camera on herself, you know how we are.
PICS OR YOUR LYIN.

Why would you buy a 2WD truck? Then, take said truck to the lake and launch/load off a beach?
Hell, even my buddies Escalade is AWD and did OK launching/loading his boat. But, I had my F350 there for just in case. Came in handy when I pulled a 3/4 Chevy / 3/4 Ford and boat all out at once. LOL!!!
At least you got a boat and a Bronco. Trade that nice truck for a 4WD. LOL!!!

I rarely have a need for 4WD on my truck and with a programmer I can get 21 mpg highway.
We had a severe drought here in Texas and is only the second time I can remember all the boat ramps having to close. Here are some pics of lake Travis low levels.

This is an old ranch house that nobody knew was under water. It would have been 50ft deep when full.
