My inner walls on my egine bay were rusting through bad in about three or four places, so i got carried away a cut the whole engine bay and inner grille out... Now that im thinkin bout it, im not sure if i went to far, has anyone else done this, and if so how much work is involved in getting it back on... And what s the best way stick, mig, tig, or rivet???

No way to know without getting in there and reattaching it. As far as welding type....I'd just use whatever you are best at.
