Lots of progress has been made and it's down to the last bit of assembly and details. When John finished sanding, this thing had straight lines that were incredible.
As mentioned before, we went with Carribean Turquoise, with an Argent Silver grill inset. This color is amazing!! I'm thrilled with how that has turned out.
We decided to paint the Baillie Bilt cage the same body color, and it looks great as well.
It's wired up with a new Centech harness and plumbed with all new hoses, brake lines, fuel lines, etc.
The motor was one of my biggest concerns. It's the original 69 which was running fine, but had several leaks and needed to be cleaned up. I had it rebuilt by a volume shop in the Dallas area and you never really know how good of a job they do. Well, after fixing a few leaks in the fuel lines at their connections, this motor turned over about three times and fired right up, and ran perfectly smooth. We didn't adjust timing, we didn't adjust the carb, nothing. It just ran great with no smoke and no significant fumes, like it was too rich. I'm still shocked. Couple video's below.

I can't wait to get this thing on the road.
