What's that sitting on the passenger fender? Is it supposed to be an overflow tank? I need to paint it but I don't know what it is.

This one is staying stock. I may be sorry down the road but I can always do an explorer swap. I'm hoping to get the carpet in tomorrow and get the top buffed out...........

Those ribs in it make me think it is the computer module on later model Bronco's I dunno!

That's what I thought at first but it's in the wrong place and kinda big for a Duraspark box. I made an overflow tank out of it. Just gotta put a cap on it.....

I've been slowly putting mine together. Gonna build it to look like mine when I first got it. Used. Primer here and there. A little rust and dull chrome.

Have you guys had your glue eat through the paint? I think I might try a different one.

Yes. I am using Testors 3507. I have to be careful where I put it.

I also had my paint etching the body. Had to strip it, prime it, and repaint.

What do you mean by paint etching the body?

It was eating into it in spots. I painted it with PPG auto paint with reducer and hardener in it. Same stuff I use on the Bronco. I ended up with a splotchy finish with a matte finish in places. There was something it didn't like. Had to start over on it.....

I just finished painting my body the other day with a custom mix rattle can I had made up the same color as my Bronco. It is 6 years old, I bought it for painting both my gas caps and it still worked great, body turned out good. I glued on the spare tire rack corners before I painted the body because I didn't want to make a mess afterword's but there is still a lot to do.
