I have owned this bronco since 2008. I bought it to build a basic driver for my wife. The bronco would make a great first time bronco, great start for a wheeler, or just a basic driver. You will not win car shows or travel Rubicon with it this as it sits!
Basic specs:
1973 Bronco Explorer
Brunt Orange
302 with holley 4bbl carb
Auto trans
3.50 gears open diffs
Power steering
Power drum brakes front and rear.
Like new Rampage soft top, no hard top. Basic roll bar
2.5” lift 33x 10.5 x 15 Pro Comp MT tire 90% tread on 15” x 8” steel Pro Comp rims
The truck has had a lot of new parts put on it over the years and overall very few miles. It has only had 200 miles put on it since 2015 and most of the time it was stored inside or under a car cover. I have a Marti report for it.
All the following was replaced in the last 3 years:
Rebuilt brakes new drums, shoes and hardware
New exhaust cherry bomb mufflers ‘Rebuilt C4 trans and new trans cooler
New heater core, heater control valve, and seals
New front shocks have rears in the box still.
Upgraded bushings in springs and front end
New front 3 point seat belts
New Saginaw power steering pump and belts
Engine had a basic over haul, new gaskets, water pump, oil pump, cam, lifters, rings seals.
A lot of other small parts.
A lot of other parts have been replaced and have very few miles on them: Soft top is like new tires and rims are in very good condition, it was repainted in 2009 paint job is a 20 footer. Tailgate was rebuilt in 2015 no rust at all in the tailgate. Heat, lights, radio, and gauges all work. Clear Maryland title in hand.
The bad:
Interior floor was repaired by previous owner with all kinds of metal, diamond plate, galvanized sheet metal, 1/8 plate. I didn’t feel it was worth the effort to repair it the right way. Less than perfect exterior body work but not tons of bondo. Paint job was a do it yourself job, again not perfect but looks great from 20 ft away.
Engine issue, after engine was rebuilt it has never run right, it will start and run but runs very rough. I think it is something with the valves, timing or carb. The fuel is old too and that could have something to do with it. Someone smarter than me could most likely fix it in a day, but I am done with it. I don't have the time place or desire to mess with it anymore.
This is an honest over view of the truck, come look at it, drive it, and crawl around it. I would be willing to deliver the truck for the cost of gas to anyone within a hour drive of me
SOLD!!!!!

People want more pics so instead of sending them to each person here are a few more. I tried to show the few areas the previous owner covered the old floors with sheet metal and left the old crusty floors. The back side of the door post and floor pans.

People wanted to see the inside of it and the rear floor area. Rear seat is stock white in fair shape needs to be recovered. Front seats are from a Bronco II I think? They need to be recovered the sliders and folding mec all works.
