Hello,
Did you split the cases to replace the air flap foam seals, and if so what type of fastener was used to reassemble.

No reason to split the case to replace those little pieces of foam . Scrape the old stuff off thru the defrost holes etc , clean the metal , apply contact cement & trim & fit the new foam pieces .
