I am starting to refurbish my dash, I have seen some really nicely thoughtout onnes on this site over the years. Looking to delete some un-needed holes, also getting rid of the grill, ash tray and moving the glove box over 3" inches. Is 3" enough to clear most roll cages? I would go less if possible.

Thanks for throwing out that idea, I have not seen that option.

I just ordered a custom dash from BC Broncos. I order one based on this picture except I am deleting the radio and adding a push button start.
I also made a list of all things I could think of that might be required on the dash.

Repeat of my design that was posted before, but the images went away.
I moved the glove box and added the speakers. The biggest effort was the dash pod with Speedhut gauges

I moved the glovebox 2 3/4" left and it cleared my 2" 120 wall front cage bar by 3/4". i also plug welded the holes used to bolt the dash pad down oto, deleted the pad. Plug welded the holes on the left for throttle, fog, and an empty hole as they were obscured the left the left front cage bar.

When I took the ash tray, speaker grill, and the abomination of a radio hole (cut out by a third grader off his meds with dull safey scissors) I trusted my fiber glass skills more than welding skills and fiberglassed a 'blank section' in, also removed the heater control cables. I plan to relocate the heater controls just wanted to get enough room for some 2 5/8" gauges without putting them in too low to look right.
