The body looks to be in pretty good shape. Just some pretty typical floor replacement. Post up some pics when it gets back from the blaster!

Pics after sandblasting

Well shes back from blasting and not looking pretty. This thing is bad but luckily I have a really good body man and will be able to bring this bronco back to life. Another TBP order was made today for the smaller panels and little stuff we didnt know we needed till after blasting. Next pics should be of axles powder coated early next week. Enjoy

Rust Repair, New Floors

Hey guys over the weekend I was able to start putting the floor and other panels back in the bronco. Coming along smoothly and everything is staying square. Waiting on a few kick panels and some other odds and ends and should have the body back together before no time.

Axles and other Brake parts powder coated

Just got some part back from powder coating. Hopefully axles and lockers will be next so I can get this thing as a rolling chassis.

Hey man not trying to be nosey but i was wondering on a ballpark figure of getting the frame and axles powdercoated if you do not mind me asking, i just graduated college and ive got my eye on a super straight 73 uncut full cab i can buy really reasonable and we have a shop my dad is an excellent mechanic in his spare time plus hes a ford man die hard and my father-in-law is one of the top body men in my town so i have some great resources to get it done right and probably for a much better deal than some would have to spend plus he restores a car every year or two and told me hed help me do whatever i wanted body wise if i turn the wrenches and my dads agreed to do the same mechanical wise and we have a 3000 sq ft shop with a frame and drive on lift so i think that gives me a great advantage i was really wanting to do a half cab or convert this full cab just because its already a strong runner with minimal rust and not a dent for 3500 dollars which im told is a steal for a damn near perfect eb to start my build with plus it has a nice 5k warn winch and has just been used for hunting the last 15 years and even though its only got about 10k miles on the motor i plan on building a 400hp beast but any insight you guys could give me shoot because im only 30 this will be my first build and my dad has a mach 1 restored from high school and they are willing to help hes just a mustang man and has an 01 lightning with 4k miles that is like brand new im just wanting to go in a different direction so any words of wisdom from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys.

If I recall I spent about $400 to have the frame powdercoated and $250 for my axle housing. Also about $750 on sandblasting the stuff before powdercoat so figure that in also. I'm not sure if those prices are low but I think so just because the guy knows I'm gonna be a repeat customer till I get this bronco running. I like your idea on taking a wagon and making a half cab. I want another 76 and will do the same thing that I'm doing to this one but it will be a halfy. Sounds like you have some knowledgeable people you can go to for help. The guy that is doing my body work restores atleast 3 mopars a year. He just finished 1 of 9 red on red 440 six pack challenger. Car is sick. But good luck on your build and just tear right into it but label everything thing your remove trust me.

There is alot of new metal in that body! You are doing an outstanding job on this Bronco. I cant wait to see what it looks like all finished.

Do you have any pics of the Gaps between the front fenders and the hood? I have to replace mine and was wondering how they lined up.

Yes tons of new metal on this bronco. I dont have pics of the gaps but I could get you some. The grille has also been welded to the fenders and rear light caps to the quarters and rear rocker seam all welded for a clean look.

Transmission cleaned and painted

I got the transmission ready for the tci valve body. Looks pretty good. Also some suspension teaser shots till the axles are completed with all new gear.
