New Engine Questions

Hey all,

Managed to track down a 302 out of a 78 ford granada, with just over 70,000 kms. It runs great and should be a prime swap candidate to get my truck on the road. The engine was mated to an automatic trans, so i'm trying to figure out what i need to make it compatible with my 3 speed manual. I've heard maybe a pilot bearing(?). Can I just swap my flywheel, pressure plate and clutch right onto this engine and be good to go?

Thanks guys!

You should be able to.
Don't forget to swap the manual transmission bellhousing / block separator plate also.
The one for an automatic is different.

... I've got skills, ingenuity and no regard for maintaining any kind of historical preservation or authenticity...My Dad called that sick and wrong
