Bought a Ranger PU hood to fabricate a lower valance scoop ala Rustytruck and waiting on Quality Sheet metal to fabricate a rolled lower apron. In the meantime, cut and paste or cut and tape.

For me I would use the chrome 66-68 front bumper and put a 66 shelby apron under it with a tranny or power steering cooler in the opening then put the turn signals in the apron

Rustytruck, is the 66-68 front bumper unique? 66 Shelby, as in Cobra or as in Mustang?

The earlier front bumper has a little tweek at each end which makes it a little more refined. The later bumper has just a straight piece of formed steel with a radius like cut on the ends. I always hated the later bumpers as they sliced into my pants and leg when I walked around the truck. Never knew why I always had to walk so close to the bumper. after a dozen or so pants and going to heavy duty offroad bumpers I kissed those suckers good by.

As for the lower valence I would look to the mustang style apron so you can put the turn signals in.

Or maybe build a bumper that encompasses the whole concept but the Bronco front chrome bumper is part if the iconic style of the Bronco even though it is really a crappy bumper.

I'm thinking of using stock Bronco blinkers maybe in a billet frame, set back into the roll pan in trapezoidal fashion. Don't know about bumpers.........

Howard you got skills! Metal Dr you are. I'm a tooth doc, so just my personal opinion. Love the fab work, the pictures, how you convey your concept.
Realize you are putting on a bumper, so make sure the planned bumper does not cover too much of the new face of this beautiful mod. Keep it coming.

Thanks for all the very, very kind words, from the bottom of my black and cold little heart! It really is very special to be a part of this forum and be able share the blessings of Broncaholiism! The incredible workmanship of so many members and the boundless enthusiasm of so many more is very inspirational! Truth be told, I could not, would not do it without the help and encouragement of so many friends I've never even meet. As Red Green would say, "We're all in this together!". Thanks and over and out. Awright, HUUUUGE DISCLAIMER HERE!!! DON'T DO IT THE WAY I'M DOIN' IT!!!! If we learn by our mistakes, I will soon be the smartest s.o.b. in the WORLD! My point here is TAKE YOUR TIME! As Cat Stevens sang, years ago, "Take your time, think a lot, think of everything you've got, for your Bronco will still be here tomorrow, but your fender may not.", or something like that. One final observation two steps forward and three steps back doesn't help if you really, really, REALLY want to take your Bronco to the big Hudsonville Fair Spring Bronco Swap Meet. http://broncoswapmeet.com/ There. Rant done. Pics of today. Btw, driving lights are out because they kept falling on the floor, and that's not a good thing for driving lights.

You will not need to use it as a grill. Here's a better option.
