Rampage zippers a straight up junk! I took my back window and top to a canvas shop and had a metal zipper installed for about $40. I'd highly recommend it.

Not a bad idea, specially if It’s crap to begin with

All of mine have come apart. the metal parts separate and the plastic zipper parts come unstitched from the top itself. My side windows are a pain, but they only go on a handful of times a year. The back zipper came completely apart, since I use it the most I had that one repaired.

I can take a picture later. I had mine come off before I took some pliers and squeezed it down a little but not too much or it won’t move. I also hit it with WD40 from time to time

Mine did the same, at 6 weeks. My 2004 TJ top Has never had an issue. There is a big difference in the zippers.

TBP put me in touch with Larry at Rampage 657 212 3045. Filled out a form, supplied a couple of pictures and my receipt. My new top is on the way.

I wont even be taking it out of the box. Its going straight to the Tent and awning guy that recovered my boat seats for a zipper upgrade.
