Looks good Chris! Mounted my fuel cell similar fashion but dropped it through the bed to top of frame. Mark

I almost did as well, it would lower it about 2.5 inches or so, i would have to re-route a few things to do it but was thinking of mounting it with two horizontal cross members from each frame to support it.

I might move it but will see how things go.

Your cage behind the dash looks very nice. I cringe Everytime I see the typical S bends around the dash that look terrible.

I really think you should reconsider 2 spares. There really are multiple positives to running 2 and no negatives that I can think of. Broncos need the weight in the rear.

Haven't ruled it out - for now just storing the spare off the ground :)

Doesn’t look like much has been done but we have officially turned the corner on electrical and plumbing. Just missing a few connections for each, electrical is about 95% done and tested. I will go out on a limb and say we are two weeks away from firing it up - Maybe a run around the block.

As always when you fabricate or customize everything we are having to install - tweak - then re-install to get things where we need them. Very time consuming but will be worth it. Lots to do, but lots done!

Electrical done, plumbing almost there. Lots of little mechanical stuff to attend to and figure out a drag link.

Radio is programmed and modified and being sent back. Window nets being made. Helmet and comms on their way. Never ends!

33x10.50’s I’m guessing then. Right? I love the look.
I’m trying to decide what size to run on my project right now and have been hoping a 33x10.50 looks good. I love the tall skinny look. And the bfg km2/3 is what I’ve been eyeing as well.
‘76 with a 3.5” susp lift and 1” body lift.

(Those are worn out 31x10.50’s on there now)

BFG’s run slightly smaller so I might look around a bit. I think 33’s are going to look really small with as much suspension and body lift you are running. I would look at 35’s at 9.5 or 10.5” wide. I think someone still makes a 35x9.5” but you will have to search around. I am sure there are a bunch of forum posts on tall skinny tires.

You dont need a power kill switch outside the truck or a big marker light in the back?

Looking good Chris. Your electrical is WAY more simple than mine. Been the biggest headache of the build for us.

Ha well I have a box sitting in the shelf from Gary that could make it more complicated. But not this year!
