What is best paint for painting headers

i sandblasted my stock exaust manifolds and painted with vht

i actually baked them in the oven as instructed in the directions to cure them 30 minutes at 250....30 min at 450..... and 30 min at 600..... if i remeber correctly

so far so good ....but only about 2000 miles on them plus i dont think stock manifold gets as hot as true headers.

It just takes stock manifolds longer to heat up to the temp headers get. But once they heat up to temp they also stay there longer.
I dont believe that most powder coatings are heat resistant enough to withstand the heat of headers or manifolds.

I suppose if powder coat held they would sell them that way. Header manufacturers probably have it figured out what works and what doesn't.
