Found some pics of the Battlement Fabrication radius arms and shock/coil mounts. Nice looking and beefy kit - KOH can't be wrong?!;). Note adjustable coil and shock mounts. I thought that was a nice touch after reading so many threads on front-to-back lean. Ordered 14" travel Kimg 2.5's at Clint's suggestion. He says these things flex like crazy and you need to pay attention to shock choice and valving - so I ordered the whole setup from him. Patient and easy to deal with. In addition, I had a choice between hiems and Johnny-Joints and with with an upgraded joint from Summit.

On the rear, had a tough time tring to decide and source a route. BUT CB.com supports again! With help found Jim Cole's info at BloodyKnuckleGarage and ordered a "custom" pair of his "old style" rear dual mounts setup for a single King/Fox with Ressie. Should be awesome!!! Here are some pics of the Battlement Fab gear.

Finally getting some movement on the old girl! I found a CB.com member here in wichita (thanks CB.com!!!) and having the suspension, ruffstuff anti wrap, and a WH 4x4x2 hydraulic assist steering installed so we can start doing some proper 4x4 and sand dune duty in Sweet Pea this spring and summer!!! I am psyched to get some help (all) on the install!!!

Thanks Nate!

Geez, all this time with my 77 (18y) and just now finding there are other EB folks here in Wichita. 76Sport is probably a neighbor - I'm at K96/Meridian as well

Bernie Bentsen on the SE side of town is an old Ford maintenance guy, has a spotless 76 and a 74 half cab, over the years he has been the best local resource for me and may be a place for help for you too, he has incredible knowledge of these things. You don't want my level of knowledge - but happy to contribute it as well.

Could it be we never see ea other because mine spends more time getting ready to go than going? 2 summers ago it was down for Duff suspension upgrade - great upgrade but slow going with a new little one complicated by no welder and general limited mechanical knowledge and skills. Last summer sat with a leaky radiator, leaky transmission and leaky brakes. And no time, so it sat and hasn't run in 2y.

But this year - mine is in final stages of reassembly, new stainless brake lines/stainless extenders/e-brake/door rebuild/radiator replacement/multiple general leak repair/LED light conversion/H4 headlight conversion/new seats/new side panels/cage conversion project. As soon as Kevin gets my gauge back to me, it will be ready for start and drive to Holzman's Racing on S Greenwich to get the cage crafted to accommodate cage seat mounts and 5 point harness

Let's see it on the road brother! My goal is by the first Fri in May to be at the every Fri night classics gathering on W Central/West St - come join us

Sounds like the exact same story and very similar time line as here! We moved back to Wichita in '11 and the only place it's driven is Fischer Transmission, my office (shop and bigger tools) for a power front disc conversion, and RockWorx 4x4 for the suspension upgrade. It spent the other 4 1/2 yrs in my garage in MO while I did just about what you described while working the bugs out -- I didn't get it farther than I wanted it towed back to the house. I am excited

Pop me your # via pm - would love to make it to the Friday night deal when I'm in town!

Natesbronco is Nate's handle here but he is not on the forum much now. He has had three EB's and is currently without. He cureently jas three jeeps he is installing 3-4 link suspension on now and just finished a 4 front/rear rig that he showed me some pics of out in moab last weekend. I think he is going to be a great offroad resource and close as he is on the east side for me. I would be curious to get Bernie's info if he doesn't mind you sharing it. I'll have plenty of Ford / Bronco specific issues to work through as it gets driven more this year I would bet.

Looking forward to hitting up KSRocks, Tuttle Creek, and Disney as I get more comfortable behind the wheel offroad in the coming months... We need to get the Wichita EB's together!!!

A little more progress. Not quite buttoned up but getting there. Things are getting a little tight but close. Running into a couple questions and having a hard time getting ahold of Battlement Fab. If anyone has some install pics of this radius arm setup or a similar setup please post or pop a line and I'll throw them up. Not 100% sure the "best" way to mount the shocks with the adjustable frame brackets and coil springs. Here are some pics of radius arms and frame brackets tac'ed up for final fit:

Getting more little teasers from Nate at RockWorx4x4! With the steering system upgrade we both thought it was time to double-shear the pitman arm... Now I'm getting excited!

Snowball is right. I'm going through that right now on my "quick" rebuild of a rolled over rig. Damn the parts list adds up.

Thanks man!!! I am and it's killing me! Nate has talked about doing a quick shake-down run to Tuttle Creek in the next few weeks when we both can slide it in our schedules. I am super happy with how things have turned out and Nate - RockWorx4x4 has been awesome to deal with!!! I would recommend him to anyone in the Wichita area needing anything 4x4 done. Just a great experience.
